The Tower History

This card has only been used in divination since the 19th century, although it has been used to play centuries before. Early painted decks don’t even have this card, which was omitted in some variations even though it was part of the deck. Thus, the depiction of the card has varied considerably over time. Still, it has held on to the image of fire and fire, symbolically showing the intent and initiative that led to certain circumstances beyond our control. Some versions of the card had naked people in them; others showed the Devil at the mouth of Hell, a burning building, all of which came as a natural consequence of the card that preceded it. It was presumed to reference the biblical story of the Tower of Babel, which was artificial and destroyed by God. The Minchiate version is considered to represent the expulsion of Eve and Adam from the Garden of Eden.

The Tower Tarot Card Explained

The Tower Upright – In its essence, The Tower represents a groundbreaking change. It doesn’t always foretell chaos and destruction, though you might think so by the card’s look! Lighting strikes a stone tower, and people jump from the windows to escape the flames. This card follows The Devil card in the Major Arcana, and the message is clear: do not resist change, or the universe will force it upon you.
The Tower Reversed -The reversed Tower card will be interpreted differently depending on the surrounding cards. For example, it could indicate that you are resisting change, that the impending change has been delayed, or that you have avoided a destructive citation altogether.

The Tower Past (Upright & Reversed)

The Tower Past ( Upright )
You experienced some major upheaval or trauma in your recent past that still affects your life today. The good news is that it is now behind you! After the destruction of The Tower, new opportunities await you. The transformation could have been physical, such as a divorce or the death of a loved one, or it could have been internal.
The Tower Past ( Reversed )
In the reversed position, the Tower indicates that you avoided a traumatic event in your recent past or delayed it. The message of the Tower is to accept change. The old ways must go for you to awaken to higher consciousness.

The Tower Present (Upright & Reversed)

The Tower Present ( Upright )
When the world is falling apart around you, there is no sense in sitting around and going down in flames. Jump to your freedom while you still can. Your life has a great upheaval when the Tower card appears in the present position. There is no stopping this change because the faulty foundations have been exposed. However, this can be seen as a blessing because the illusions and lies will go in flames!
The Tower Present ( Reversed )
You may have just narrowly missed a traumatic situation. Phew! The Tower, in reverse, indicates that a significant upheaval was either delayed or avoided. If you are aware of negative or false influences in your life that need to go, make a move now. Otherwise, the Tower will crop up again later to finish cleaning the house.

The Tower Future (Upright & Reversed)

The Tower Future ( Upright )
There’s no easy way to say it. The Tower card indicates that you are in for some major upheaval and life-altering change in the future position. These shocking events can shake us to the core but also force us to grow spiritually. Like the baby bird that gets kicked out of the nest so that it can learn to fly, a tower moment will have you feeling like the world is out of control. Stay calm and remember that these lessons are training grounds, and you will emerge the better for it.
The Tower Future ( Reversed )
The Tower, in reverse, can indicate a transformation on an internal or spiritual level. For example, you may release long-held beliefs or traditions or experience a spiritual awakening. However, the Tower can also indicate resistance to change.

The Tower Love and Romance (Upright & Reversed)

The Tower Love and Romance ( Upright )
In romantic relationships, The Tower pushes you to make a problematic leap forward. If your relationship is built on a weak or rocky foundation, expect your commitment to be swept away in favor of something better that will soon come along. Likewise, if you are single, you will profoundly transform your perspective on love.
The Tower Love and Romance ( Reversed )
The reversed Tower advises you to deal with any foundational issues in your relationship before the problem worsens. If you can see a complete change in direction as an opportunity instead of resisting inevitable change, then the energy of The Tower card won’t be quite as challenging as it could be.

The Tower Career (Upright & Reversed)

The Tower Career ( Upright )
It looks like your office is about to become chaotic. The Tower card in a career reading indicates that there will be some upheaval and disruption in the workplace. So whether you are suddenly saddled with an extra workload or a part of a round of layoffs, everything is about to get shaken up. However, remember that there is always an opportunity to start fresh from a clean slate with the shakeup. More often than not, this turns out to be a blessing in disguise!
The Tower Career ( Reversed )
You might have just gotten fortunate regarding a round of layoffs or some other disruptive situation at the office. A reversed Tower card suggests that some mishap in your career was avoided or delayed. The Tower energy tests the stability of the foundation of things. Double-check to make sure that you aren’t clinging to a sinking ship!

The Tower Friends (Upright & Reversed)

The Tower Friends ( Upright )
In a friend’s reading, The Tower warns that something tumultuous will happen in your relationship. Look closely at who has your back and who might put you at risk. Could someone reveal personal information about you? Is someone likely to betray your trust if they’re put to the test? However, it manifests that something will fundamentally change the dynamic of your current friendships.
The Tower Friends ( Reversed )
The Tower in reverse is slightly less daunting but still appears as a warning. Your tower moment might be delayed, but don’t ignore the message. This placement allows you to take some preemptive precautions.

The Tower Money (Upright & Reversed)

The Tower Money ( Upright )
A financial crisis is coming at you right now. The Tower card comes as a big wake-up call. You may experience a sudden financial loss or problem that impacts your finances negatively. Try to take this opportunity to set some money aside and get your financial ducks in a row!
The Tower Money ( Reversed )
Did you narrowly escape a financial crisis? The Tower card in reverse indicates that you may barely avoid a situation, but are you in a position where you could repeat this pattern? When this major arcana card appears, it demands that we make fundamental changes. The reversed position suggests the crisis was delayed, but the tower will return later, probably more forcefully, if the foundations aren’t fixed.

The Tower Health (Upright & Reversed)

The Tower Health ( Upright )
The Tower card is not a good message to receive in a health reading, but remember that even unexpected difficulties can result in a positive outcome. This Major Arcana card will take something away, but at the same time, it will open doors to a new way of life. So, if you know that you have specific health problems or habits hurting your health, take the time to clean up your act now.
The Tower Health ( Reversed )
In reverse, the Tower card suggests that the crisis may not be imminent, but don’t ignore the messenger! Instead, make the appropriate changes so you don’t end up with an even more difficult complication. It’s always better to nip problems in the bud!

The Tower Spirituality (Upright & Reversed)

The Tower Spirituality ( Upright )
You’re facing a significant change in your spiritual path, but don’t worry! You might have an experience that makes you question everything you once believed, or something might happen to turn everything on its head! Just remember that the Tower shows up in your reading when it’s time to start over with a clean slate. Letting go and trusting in the universe is all part of your ascension.
The Tower Spirituality ( Reversed )
You’re undergoing an intense spiritual transformation; you may even be experiencing a night of the soul. Remember that when we are alone in the darkness, we can hear the whispers of our souls. So be brave and trust the universe to bring you to the next level.

Meaning and Symbology of the Tower Card

When lighting strikes The Tower, everything is suddenly illuminated in a flash of light. Just one impact and the whole tower starts to crumble. This is because it was built on illusions and a shaky foundation. Although the destruction is scary, the universe is shaking things up for you so that you can get out. So don’t waste more time hiding in a tower doomed to fall eventually. Leap now!

Yes / No Key Interpretation

The Tower is all about unforeseen events and changes in your life. However, the changes are along the lines of something catastrophic, disastrous, and harmful overall. It could be related to some accident, disaster, or damage to another part of your life. The answer given by this card is no.

The Tower Important Card Combinations

Although the Tower is not a card you hope to read, it also has positive aspects. Particularly when combined with other cards, such as Chariot or Temperance. Below, you can find the most important combinations of the Tower Tarot card.

The Tower And The Chariot

Things may be complicated right now, but there’s a power shift when the Chariot joins the Tower. Even if it doesn’t look like that, you’re in control. What things can you change, and what should you let go of? What will it take to secure a victory or have the items you want? Be confident, and do that.

The Tower And Temperance

It’s time for a middle ground to be found. The Tower alone usually brings quick ends to connections of all kinds. But when the Tower is paired with Temperance, ‘Hail Mary’ can save the day. Instead of giving up, look for common ground and a way to stay together. In this case, everything isn’t lost. You’re going to need to do some negotiation, though.

The Tower And Death

The changes brought about by the Tower will have lasting effects. Powerful forces will play here if the card is combined with the Death card. The key is to avoid worrying or freaking out. Look at the other cards in the reading instead. Doing so will allow you to determine exactly how/where the issue will be presented. Having as much information as possible will allow you to remain calm and in control.

The Tower And The High Priestess

It is time to stop avoiding the inevitable. Constant chaos in your life is a matter of your own, even if others are involved. When the Tower and the High Priestess are matched, personal responsibility is the key. We can’t control other people, but we have power over who we let in our lives, what we accept, and who we allow to stay. We also hold our reactions and how we move forward with the loss.

The Tower Tarot Card In The Reading

The Tower Tarot card carries profound significance, often symbolizing unexpected upheaval and sudden change. Drawing the Tower can be a jarring experience, but it’s essential to understand that life’s challenges play a crucial role in our journey. These moments of turmoil serve as counterpoints to our happier times, reminding us to appreciate the abundance of joy and stability we often take for granted.

As you navigate life’s storms, reflecting on the aspects of your existence for which you are thankful is valuable. What blessings, however small, fill your days with warmth and light? By journaling your gratitude for a few moments each day, you can shift your perspective and cultivate a more profound sense of happiness. This practice fosters resilience and helps illuminate the silver linings hidden within life’s trials.

The Star History

This card has not changed much throughout history, as it has always stood for the strength of the feminine and the connection of water and earth, emotion and common sense, on the path to the ideal. The woman was portrayed naked, one foot representing her connection to intuition and her emotional world and the other on the ground, showing her readiness to act and see the world for what it is. It has been said that the seven stars represent the seven chakras, but the first depictions had only one star depicted, and a person looked at it as a distant ideal.

It’s more of a card of emotions that serves a higher purpose than the interaction between two people on a practical plane. The blessings are being sent out. If the bonds of the past still burden our Soul, this symbolizes healing, of overcoming problems that no longer serve us, simply by turning our focus with trust to what is inspiring, loving, and beautiful today. It could announce a new love story to turn us away from unsafe or toxic in the previous one.
The Star Love and Romance ( Reversed )
Does something from your feet sweep you away? Do you ignore the signs? Do you have that little voice telling you to be careful about something but don’t want to listen because you’re caught up in the moment? The Star in the Future warns you that if you allow yourself to be caught up in dreamland, you may be in despair and despair in the future when things turn out differently than they seem to be.
Do you feel like you’re going to be in a rut? If you’re single and feeling down on your luck, like you’re never going to find your soul mate, remember that you’re attracting what you’re in! The Star Career ( Reversed )
You’ve got to turn that frown upside down! It’s normal and easy to fall into pessimism and negativity when things get tough, but that will make it harder to achieve success. The Law of Attraction reminds us that we attract what we put into the world, so if you want that dream job, you must be a dream job! Not only does it speak of hope, but it speaks of ways in which we can change and overcome physiological problems by simply following the feel, the music, the inspiration, and the synchronicity of the Universe. It requires ultimate trust and stands for a person we can believe in, a doctor or a healer who has unusual ways and methods but proves beneficial to our well-being. With this card set in a health reading, we must remember that only our hearts shine a light on the right path to follow, and no one else’s beliefs will help if we’re only mentally grasping them.
The Star Health ( Reversed )
Remember the saying, “The best medicine is laughter? “Well, in the case of The Star Card, on the other hand, you’re receiving a message that will bring more optimism and positivity about your health. The Star And The Chariot
Success is on the horizon when the numbers 7 and 17 link up. The Chariot represents your choices to get you to your greatest desires (the Star). This is an excellent combination because it communicates that everything you want is within your reach. It’s not just going to fall into your lap, though. Work will be needed.
The Star And The Ace Of Pentacles
Some creative venture you’ve been considering will make a significant profit—if you’re willing to leap of faith. Do you have enough confidence in yourself and your idea to move forward? You should. All the hard times have come to pass, and now is when you should celebrate your present good fortune, one relaxing day at a time.
The Star And The Moon
When these two celestial bodies come together, strong emotions are at play. Is there a disturbing situation that has left you anxious or worried? The Star and Moon combination suggests you must deal with your intense feelings before things improve. How can this be done? Start by discovering what you’re feeling and what deeper issues these emotions might have with you. A lot of times, powerful emotions are linked to the traumatic experiences of our childhood and past. Addressing these feelings at the root can help you heal much deeper.
The Star And The Wheel Of Fortune
Are you considering a career requiring interacting with many people or being front and center? Or are you hoping for some recognition for your hard work? The Star, combined with the Wheel of Fortune, tells you that your destiny has agreed with your desire and is ready to present all that you envisage as long as you are willing to make a change available to yourself.

The Moon Tarot Card Meaning: Yes or No, Reversed, Love, Money, Career, Past, Present, Future, Health, and Spirituality

The Moon Tarot Card Meaning

There’s an unsettling feeling in your life as if something is awry beneath the surface. It might stem from a misunderstanding clouding your judgment or perhaps a painful truth you’re struggling to confront. Additionally, it could indicate that someone in your circle is concealing vital information from you, further complicating your emotions. This hidden aspect may contribute to worry or sadness in your daily life. The Moon is a powerful reminder to trust your instincts and delve deeper into your intuition; it may guide you through the fog of deception and help you uncover the reality beyond your perception.
Tarot Card: The Moon
Planet: Moon
Keywords: Rhythm, Tides, Dismissal, Buried Feelings, Depth
Affirmation: I Fill Every Void In My Soul With Love, Acceptance, And Trust
Element: Water
Astrology: Pisces
As A Yes Or No Question: No
Key Dates: February 19 To March 20
Upright: Fear, Anxiety, Confusion, Delusion, Risk
Reversed: Overcoming Fear, Finding The Truth, Conquering Anxiety, Gaining Clarity

The Moon History

Showing the night sky and talking about its ruler, this card always depicted the night scene and a separate woman from instinctive and animalistic entities meant to show her the way. It has been known to speak of fear and limitations of intellectual light and guide us in the direction of animal spirit guides who will show us the rest of the way. Throughout history, strangely enough, this card held deities almost as a standard, all of which, in their passive roles with wolves and dogs wailing around them, sought attention, intent, initiative, and a solid and energetic focus of the feminine that brings everything into line with the rhythm of Nature and all its cycles. The repressive atmosphere of the drawings has changed with the collective transition of common patriarchal societies to a more open approach to the feminine.

The Moon Explained

When times are uncertain, we often begin to feel scared or anxious. The Moon card represents this time of the unknown when we might feel out of control. But instead of hiding or running away from the shadows, take the time to listen to your intuition. Whatever is revealed to you will ultimately serve you. When we discover things hidden beneath the surface, we can take action to improve our environment.

The Moon Past (Upright & Reversed)

The Moon Past ( Upright )
Recently, some big secrets that were not easy to deal with were revealed. You had to realize that things weren’t as they seemed. There may have been painful emotions associated with this—it may have been a lover who cheated on you or withheld important information. However this manifested, the truth came to light and shed light on your life. This has enabled you to make choices that have brought you to a new place of understanding and certainty.
The Moon Past ( Reversed )
Have you refused to listen to what your heart was telling you? Maybe there were signs, but you didn’t want to see them? On the other hand, The Moon card indicates a refusal to listen to our intuition and a reluctance to face up to the truths that are coming to the surface. Or you may not have understood the messages. However, this time is behind you, and you’ve learned from your experience.

The Moon Present (Upright & Reversed)

The Moon Present ( Upright )
There’s more going on than the eye meets right now, and you need to dig a little to get to the bottom of things. Below the surface, there is information that needs to be revealed. The Moon card in the present position encourages you to take some time to explore the messages that your heart is sending you. Don’t cast off fears or fears because they may be messengers, but don’t run wild with them, either! There is a difference between exploring shadows and allowing negative emotions to take over.
The Moon Present ( Reversed )
You are falling into a negative spiral of anxiety and fear in a situation where you feel out of control. The Moon, on the other hand, indicates the most damaging aspects of this card. For example, someone might be trying to fool you, or you might be cheating on yourself. Alternatively, a period of confusion is finally coming to an end, and clarity is coming back. Look at the surrounding cards and choose the path that resonates with your current situation.

The Moon Future (Upright & Reversed)

The Moon Future ( Upright )
A time of creativity and feminine inspiration is approaching. Do you have a few emotions in your subconscious that you want to express? It will be an excellent time to get involved in an artistic project with the Moon card in the future. But remember that the Moon brings illusion, too, and can lead us to our shadow side.
The Moon Future ( Reversed )
Someone may try to lead you astray shortly, so stay on guard. The Moon card in the reversed position indicates the negative energies of this card and can carry a spiritual awakening or a night of the soul. As you move forward, remember that the situation may not be as it seems, and be sure to listen to any warning signs.

The Moon Love and Romance (Upright & Reversed)

The Moon Love and Romance ( Upright )
There are two possibilities with the Moon set in a love reading. One of them (more common) is that fear governs us as we connect with another, and our subconscious world flows over and drowns our opportunities for actual intimacy. Maybe we’re hiding our fragility from the other person, or they’re hiding theirs, so this scenario could be challenging if we don’t connect and get closer and closer, step by step. The other option the readiest of the moons gives can be found in the mutual healing of shared pain. It tells the story of two people who are prepared to face their demons, deal with their darkest wounds, and make contact with each other, trusting and open, so they can finally stop feeling alone.
The Moon Love and Romance ( Reversed )
Be sure not to confuse the intense emotions of true love right now! If you’re new to someone, the Moon, on the other hand, is putting you on guard so that your person may not be what they seem to be. Is someone presenting themselves as your true love or soulmate? But do you feel deep down that it might not be true?
Wait for them to see if their actions match their words. If you feel confused and uncertain, wait for reliable information. On the other hand, do not let paranoia and anxiety poison your situation. Take a deep breath, and at this time, go with the flow. Allow the hidden to be revealed to you in its own time.

The Moon Career (Upright & Reversed)

The Moon Career ( Upright )
Are you confused about your career path? You may feel perplexed by all the options or don’t have enough information to make a sound decision. Your workplace may be chaotic, and your energy may be uncertain.
Career reading from the Moon card indicates that you should listen to your intuition and wait patiently for vital information to be revealed. If you’re trying to decide on your next steps, take the time to meditate and listen to the messages that come to your heart. If chaos is at work, recognize that you can’t control it, and the truth will be revealed soon enough.
The Moon Career ( Reversed )
Betrayals and dishonesty are creeping into the workplace when The Moon appears in the opposite position. Don’t fall into fear and anxiety, and don’t get involved in any drama at work. Remain calm and trust that the moon’s light will soon reveal the facts.

The Moon Friends (Upright & Reversed)

The Moon Friends ( Upright )
Misunderstandings are very likely to appear in friends reading The Moon. Be careful not to point fingers or make assumptions about it. Take the time to listen to me and find out more information. If your intuition tells you something, listen to me. But don’t try to force a thing.
The Moon Friends ( Reversed )
One of your friends might be doing something behind your back, or you might be doing something behind the scenes. The Moon, in reverse, indicates that it will soon be revealed.

The Moon Money (Upright & Reversed)

The Moon Money ( Upright )
Don’t make significant investments or take substantial financial risks right now. The Moon card reads money, and you notice you don’t have all the information you need to make a sound decision. So, it does a little more research and waits for clarity.
The Moon Money ( Reversed )
Someone might be trying to fool you about a significant financial transaction. So, before making any substantial investments or changes, do more research. Also, be careful about who you trust right now.

The Moon Health (Upright & Reversed)

The Moon Health ( Upright )
You may be dealing with anxiety or depression right now, so it’s an excellent time to get the support you need. In addition, the Moon card indicates that emotions may be out of balance, so it’s a perfect time to get a mental health checkup. Finally, this is also a female card, so if you have any reproductive concerns, such as hormonal problems, it’s an excellent time to get to the bottom of it.
The Moon Health ( Reversed )
Your anxiety and depression may be raised with the Moon card in the reversed position of your health reading. Any health conditions that have disturbed you should be reduced, and if you are waiting for information about your health, you should be given clarity soon. Depending on the surrounding cards, the reverse card could also exacerbate the negative aspects of this archetype, so take what resonates with your situation.

The Moon Spirituality (Upright & Reversed)

The Moon Spirituality ( Upright )
Right now, your intuition guides you, and your powers of perception are increased. Allow the energies of the moon and the feminine intuition to reveal to you new truths. If you’re drawn to investigate your shadows, go with it. Our spiritual growth requires self-reflection, so don’t be afraid to look at the emotions and fears that arise.
The Moon Spirituality ( Reversed )
You block or misinterpret messages that the spirit is trying to send you. Take time for meditation or channeling so that you can take advantage of the intuitive energies of The Moon!

The Meaning and Symbology of The Moon Card

The moon hangs between two towers, representing the opposites of negativity and positivity. On the Fool’s journey, we learn to distinguish between the two, but the answers are often unclear. The dog and the wolf represent our tamed and wild natures, and the path between them leads to the water that is our subconscious. The message is a journey into the unknown to reveal the truth.

Yes / No Key Interpretation

The Moon is an imaginary and confusing card. It suggests the presence of risks, secrets, and some degree of mental confusion. It would warn you to care for yourself and be careful about your actions. The answer you’re looking for is no.

The Moon Card Combinations

The Moon is not usually a cheerful companion, as it tends to muddy the waters and create instability. Instead, watch for a cheerful postcard to resolve the situation and clarify the matter.
The Moon And The Devil
The combination of the Moon and the Devil is deceptive in your life. Someone close to you is taking advantage of you or intentionally deceiving you for their gain. Be careful about who you spend your time with, and trust your gut to judge the character of those around you. It may be time to re-evaluate some of your relationships to ensure you get the support you need and deserve to lead a happy life.
The Moon And The World
The Moon combined with the World Card means social anxiety when reading. You’ll need to allow the Moon to guide you along the path of easing this anxiety so that you can move forward to a better future. Trust your intuition when interacting with new people, even if you fake it.
The Moon And The Hermit
The Moon and the Hermit together mean self-imposed separation from others harms one’s life. Isolation may cause one to lose touch with the people and things they genuinely love, leading to an unhappy existence. Therefore, one must remember to cherish relationships and the good things in life. If the Moon clears the way, one can be delivered from all negativity.
The Moon And The Wheel Of Fortune
If the Wheel of Fortune is showing up in your reading, get ready for the Wheel to spin in your favor. Whether you believe in fate or not, things are lining up for your benefit. Combined with the Moon, your prediction of the coming events is perfectly accurate. As such, you are unusually skilled at predicting trends.
The Moon And Strength
The Moon and Strength cards have a special bond since they have the number 8 as their base. Strength is numbered 8, and The Moon is numbered 18—the strength card stands for courage, compassion, focus, and persuasion. Combined with the Moon Tarot card, it incentivizes you to keep fighting for your visions and goals.
The Moon And Seven Of Wands
Stop it! This is the central message of the Moon paired with the Seven of Wands. This combination warns you not to jump in too soon with all the facts at hand. Instead, take the time to think for a while and ensure you have all the information before taking any position.
The Moon And The High Priestess
There is no more psychic combination in the Tarot Deck than the Moon paired with the High Priestess. Together, they want you to know that there are things you don’t know and they’re not meant to know right now. However, they will be revealed in the future and usually for your benefit. This pair may also be a sign of pregnancy. But for some reason, one that’s still a secret, maybe even from the father. It could be someone waiting for the test results or secretly trying to get a child to work with the cycles.

The Moon Tarot Card In A Reading

That encapsulates the essence of the Moon Tarot! Did that resonate with your current life situation, especially if you drew the upright or reversed Moon card during your reading? Are you curious to delve deeper into the mysteries of the Moon? One of my personal favorite experiences—though slightly tangential to Tarot, yet equally fascinating—is a Moon Reading explicitly tailored to my name and birth date. This unique and personalized Moon reading involves a detailed calculation of the Moon’s position and the alignment of the planets at the time of your birth. It offers profound insights into your astrological profile, illuminating the significance of the Moon phases and how they influence your life journey.

The Judgement Tarot Card Meaning: Yes or No, Reversed, Love, Money, Career, Past, Present, Future, Health, and Spirituality

The Judgement Tarot Card Meaning

Judgment tells the story of transition. Unlike the Death or the Tower cards, this change is not sudden or driven by luck or intuition; rather, it arises from reasoned thought. It signifies that plans, often in the making, are finally coming to fruition. Judgment may also provide insight into the nature of this change when considering the future. If a choice needs to be made, take your time to reflect and let your mind guide you. In this instance, logic is a more reliable guide than intuition. Be prepared to make a significant life decision—one that will likely shape the next chapter of your journey.
Tarot Card: Judgement
Planet: Mars
Keywords: Pursue, New Chapter, Calling, Ready, Initiation
Affirmation: I Am Grounded And Safe
Zodiac: Pluto
Element: Fire
Astrology: Pluto
As A Yes Or No Question: Yes. But You Should Also Trust Your Instinct
Upright: Reflection, Inner Calling, Reckoning, Awakening, Rebirth, Absolution
Reversed: Feeling Down, Self-doubt, Missing The Call Fearlessness

The Judgement Tarot Card History

The card of absolution traditionally depicted the Christian concept of Resurrection, illustrating all people, including children, naked before God as they faced upwards to hear His calling. Over time, variations of this theme emerged, incorporating the sea to represent its role in giving up its dead (Revelation 20:13). Snow-covered mountains were also added to enhance the symbolism, suggesting that each individual has personal goals and boundaries that must be respected, requiring solitude for reflection and understanding of their calling. When the Thoth tarot deck was created, this card was renamed “Aeon” to signify a New Age and a new phase of life distinct from our past. In contrast, the Darkana deck renamed it “Prudence” to align it with the four cardinal virtues: fortitude, justice, and temperance.

Yes / No Key Interpretation

The Judgment Card represents some change or transformation, probably one that has already occurred. It could mean the presence of a spiritual or professional vocation and the decision-making that will lead to your success. So, yes, the answer to your question is yes.

Judgement Tarot Card Past (Upright & Reversed)

Judgement Tarot Card Past Upright
You have recently made a major life-altering decision or experienced a spiritual awakening. Your choice is not to be judged – it was made based on the beliefs you held at that time. It is clear, however, that this choice has taken you to where you are today. The Judgment card in the past position indicates that you are now taking stock of your choices and how they have influenced your current situation.
Judgement Tarot Card Past Reversed
Are you beating yourself for making a “wrong” decision? On the other hand, the Judgment card indicates that you may need to forgive yourself for past missteps. Please take responsibility for your choices and what they led to, but let go of guilt or shame. We make the best decisions that we can with our beliefs and knowledge. The important thing is that we learn and do not repeat mistakes.

Judgment Tarot Card Present (Upright & Reversed)

Judgment Tarot Card Present Upright
You are on the verge of a significant decision that will profoundly impact your life. Gather all the lessons of your life and trust your heart. Have the courage to make the right decision based on what honors you and your truth. Let go of any past wounds, shame, or guilt, and face the challenge with truth and integrity. You will need your intuition and intellect to take advantage of this life-changing transformation and respond to your inner calling.
Judgement Tarot Card Present Reversed
It creeps on you softly in the back of your mind. You know it resonates in your heart, but you push it away. When the Judgment card appears in reverse, it suggests you hear the call but ignore it. Whether out of fear or disbelief, you must have confidence in your ability to deal with the situation. You must choose one way or another when you arrive at this crossroads. You can’t stay forever in the same place.

Judgement Tarot Card Future (Upright & Reversed)

Judgement Tarot Card Future Upright
You’re about to get to remake your life with honesty and integrity. The Judgment card in the future indicates that a significant change is coming and that your choice will allow you to live a new life in freedom and grace. Finally, if things have been cloudy and confusing, there’s clarity around the corner. The choice may be difficult, but if you use your intellect and intuition for the greatest good, you will find liberation.
Judgement Tarot Card Future Reversed
Don’t resist the call when it comes—it won’t go away. Let go of any self-doubt, shame, guilt, or blame you bear for past wounds. Practice self-forgiveness and self-love, and be proud of all the beautiful things you’ve accomplished. Then, when the time comes, make a bold choice from your heart and leave behind the old, negative patterns and cycles of behavior for good.

Judgement Tarot Card Love and Romance (Upright & Reversed)

Judgement Tarot Card Love and Romance Upright
A renewal of love may be in store if you’re in a relationship. First, however, you must have the courage to deal with issues of compassion and honesty between you and your personality. If you’re single, it’s time to think honestly about your past choices and what motivates them. Then, allow this time to usher in the changes that will lead you to a beautiful soul connection with the love of your life.
The Judgement card indicates that your relationship will face a crucial choice with long-lasting effects if you are in a partnership. Make an effort to work together and to communicate clearly and honestly. Then, your relationship will bloom. If you’re single right now, the Judgment Card asks you to do the same for yourself through self-love and self-respect. Then, when the new chapter begins, you will draw true love into your life.
Judgement Tarot Card Love and Romance Reversed
Your relationship may be on the rocks when the Judgment card presents the other way around in your love reading. Are you still carrying your baggage from past relationships? Are there lessons that you have not learned? There’s still time for a change! But you have to be honest with yourself, accept responsibility where it is yours, and forgive yourself for still holding on to regret. You must release these negative energies to find a true bond of love.

Judgement Tarot Card Career (Upright & Reversed)

Judgement Tarot Card Career Upright
Your genuine passion for the workplace is becoming evident. Your voice grows more muscular and will not fade until you take action to honor it. The Judgment card allows you to make a life-changing change in your career that will bring you true fulfillment and purpose. The difference may be challenging, but it’s worth it.
Judgement Tarot Card Career Reversed
If you have been involved in any conflict at work, it is time to take responsibility and make positive changes. We do not need to beat ourselves up or feel bad; we must learn from our choices and always strive to improve how we affect others and ourselves.

Judgement Tarot Card Friends (Upright & Reversed)

Judgement Tarot Card Friends Upright
Significant issues are arising in your social relations that could test the strength of your friendships. Don’t be afraid to face these challenges; by working through them and taking self-reflective responsibility, you can make changes for the better.
Judgement Tarot Card Friends Reversed
You may be tempted to ignore the signs or point your finger when the Judgment Card appears behind your friendship. But remember, the only thing we can control is our choices. So be honest about what things you have allowed or ignored to prevent the same kind of situation from recurring in the future.

Judgement Tarot Card Money (Upright & Reversed)

Judgement Tarot Card Money Upright
It’s time for an honest look at your financial habits. Do you repeat the poor choices? Are you making decisions not in the service of your financial objectives? The Judgment Card invites you to pause and closely examine what is beneficial to you and what is hindering you.
Judgement Tarot Card Money Reversed
Are you overly careful about your money? This may be why the Judgment Card was shown in the reverse position. It’s asking you to restore your balance. If you know you’ve made mistakes, don’t beat up on them! The Judgment Card also teaches pardon and grace. There is no benefit to beating yourself, but there are significant benefits to learning from our mistakes.

Judgement Tarot Card Health (Upright & Reversed)

Judgement Tarot Card Health Upright
When Judgment appears in a health reading, it requires particular focus and attention for a person to be ready to listen to the call of their physiology as the most excellent form of intelligence they have. Every problem that might arise has a much higher purpose: to show us the way, to show us where we need to work on the matter and to show how deeply we feel about any issue that might arise. Change is going your way, so if you’ve been struggling with a disease, the Judgment Card promises you a chance to make changes that will bring you a new shot to life. You’ll have to be honest about how your choices can contribute to poor health, but if you take concrete action to release bad habits and negative thoughts, you’ll see a significant change unfold. Using the body as a radar that recognizes much more in life than our brain can ever do, all physical issues can be resolved from the body’s point of awareness. Health itself will have a new dimension of understanding and perspective. This card could show problems with our eyes, ears, and senses in any hostile setting because the messages they receive are not interpreted correctly.
Judgement Tarot Card Health Reversed
On the other hand, do not wallow in shame and guilt when you recognize that poor choices have contributed to the current challenges. We’re doing the best we can in life with the tools we’ve got. Forgive yourself and free yourself from all negative beliefs about yourself.

Judgement Tarot Card Spirituality (Upright & Reversed)

Judgement Tarot Card Spirituality Upright
You are experiencing an awakening, a transformation into a higher consciousness. Now that you’ve learned the lessons of Major Arcana, you’ve been presented with your final test. You’ve got what it takes to follow your actual call. But are you going to accept it?
Judgement Tarot Card Spirituality Reversed
Don’t avoid a call to Judgement! You’re almost at the end of your journey, and the next and final step is The World Card. Allow your enlightenment to manifest itself.

The Judgement Tarot Card Meaning and Symbolism

The Archangel Gabriel blows his trumpet, and the dead souls rise from their graves to meet their creator. Behind them is an impassable mountain range that indicates that this final judgment is inevitable. This is the time of reckoning. But those who have lived a life of honesty and compassion will be guided by a new life of freedom and grace.

The World Tarot Card Meaning

The world is undergoing significant and inevitable changes on a large scale. These changes present an opportunity to bring a desirable conclusion to the Old and a positive beginning to the New. This situation reflects growing maturity, inner balance, and deeper understanding. It suggests that you may be nearing a final definition of your identity and the self-confidence that often comes with age. Additionally, it may indicate a departure from established boundaries, which can manifest in both a spiritual sense and a purely physical one, hinting at future journeys or transitions.

Affirmation: It Is My Responsibility To Love Me
Astrology: Saturn

The World Tarot Card History

In older tarot decks, the tetramorph was typically depicted to represent the four elements and the four suits of the minor arcana. The Book of Revelation influenced the figures in each corner, while later decks moved away from much Christian symbolism. Over time, many of the small symbols associated with the card have changed, with one transformation depicting wrath as a snake biting its tail. This shift simplified the card’s meanings, bringing unity to its symbolism. In Thot tarot, this card is named “The Universe,” which broadens its interpretation. The central figure represents the fifth element, meant to unite all the others, and in the past, depictions of Christ or Hermes have been used.

You are a force to be reckoned with and deserve the respect you enjoy. Your current situation is based on a profound sense of achievement and success in your past. It may have been recent or childhood, but it has, in either way, laid a solid foundation for you that has supported you in the present.
The World Tarot Card Past Reverse

The World Card invites you to enjoy the fruits of your labors. So take a moment to celebrate your success!
The World Tarot Card Money Reverse

The World Tarot Card Health (Upright & Reverse)

The World Tarot Card Health Upright
There is a lot of expectation with the World at our feet. Our physiology may suffer if we have completed some critical projects and internal processes while not having enough rest to show our body the treatment it deserves. This card strongly focuses on our physical needs and the level of material existence, as we cannot round up any idea without a solid link to the real, touchable material world. It may be times of struggle when all we need is to be alone, to meditate, to remain in touch with the Universe and our Spirit guides, and to choose a healthy routine to follow that rest and relax the spasm that has been built up since we started journeys that are now complete.
The World Tarot Card Health Reverse
When reversed, the World Card suggests you must still make a health change. There’s only one stone left unturned. Don’t give up because you’re so close! But, honestly, look at what might still contribute to any ‘disease’ and change your new life.

The World Tarot Card Spirituality (Upright & Reverse)

The World Tarot Card Spirituality Upright
Your initial spiritual journey has ended, and you’re ready for something new. Everything you have fought for and sacrificed for has brought you to a place of fulfillment and fulfillment. But what’s on the other side of it? You are starting a new chapter in your life, and your next spiritual journey will bring you to a new level. The World Card advises you that it’s time to think outside the box and expand your horizons to new levels.
The World Tarot Card Spirituality Reverse
You’re almost out there! Reflect on all the lessons you’ve learned throughout your journey through Major Arcana. You’ve only got one challenge left. Put your know-how to work for you.

The Meaning and Symbology of The World Card

A floating woman looks behind herself as she walks through a laurel wreath. She’s reflecting on the past with a sense of accomplishment, holding a manifestation wand in each hand. She could unify and integrate her inner desires with her physical environment. This achievement enables her to dream new dreams that she can pursue with the universe’s support.

The World Important Card Combinations

Travel and exploration are what the World Tarot Card is all about. Also, in combination with other cards, this theme is present. What’s important is to look at the other cards in your spread to learn more about the specifics of this journey: it may be a romantic getaway, a spiritual trip, or even the end of a long journey. Below, we’ve written the most important World Tarot card combinations.

The World And The Hermit

When the world and the hermit are in tandem, feelings of isolation and loneliness are present. In a sense, these two are opposite cards, the World representing travel and exploration and the Hermit being alone in silence. The Hermit overshadows the World, leaving the person they represent a little stuck with this combination. Thankfully, these two have a positive message: find a way to take what you have learned through your spiritual journey and share it with others. Doing so is going to give you a purpose.

The World And The Fool

The World and the Fool are traveling cards, so it makes sense that they represent globetrotting together. So it seems to be in your cards if you’ve been itching to go on vacation or make a cross-country (or ocean) move. Just make sure you’re budgeting and planning before setting sail.

The World And The Lovers

The Lovers and the World is a whirlwind romance that will sweep you away from your feet. This pair is sometimes present in reading when a long-distance relationship is about to sprout. If you’re already engaged, prepare for a renewal of your relationship. A romantic getaway might be what it takes to bring back the spark that was there at the beginning.

The World And The Sun

Combining the World and the Sun cards is one of the most influential and uplifting pairings in a tarot reading. Together, they embody the essence of triumph, signaling a time of profound success and the arrival of brilliant clarity after enduring challenges and hardships. This duo suggests that after a lengthy journey filled with obstacles, you finally reach a place of resolution and fulfillment. If you’re seeking a surge of optimism, this reading is precisely what you need. No matter the projects you’re currently engaged in or your future aspirations, these cards assure you that your efforts will blossom into something gratifying and aligned with your highest good. Embrace this positive energy, as it heralds a bright path ahead.

The Tarot Knight of Cups card may represent proposals, offers, good news, and invitations in general. The information or offers he usually brings with him a lot of excitement. They’re the kind of offers or news we’re hoping to receive. Knights are action-makers, and as such, this Minor Arcana card can indicate that now is the time to take action and follow your heart or that you are about to get swept off your feet. The Knight of Cups can also mean gentleness, affection, and warmth. It may also represent grace under pressure or diplomacy so that you may find yourself acting as a mediator in resolving any dispute or conflict. When describing a person, the Knight of Cups is a charming adult (usually 20-35 years of age and usually a male) who is emotional, romantic, caring, gentle, and idealistic. He’s a courteous, warm, tactful, and peace lover or a good negotiator. It may be a sign of water, such as Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces.

Love and Relationship (Upright)

Whether you’re single or in a relationship, the Knight of Cups is a splendid omen to spread Tarot’s love. The Knight of Cups can tell you you’re about to be swept off your feet if you’re single. Alternatively, if you’re single and interested in someone, you’re advised to bite the bullet now and ask them out. It is a strong indicator that now is the time to take a suggestion from the Page of Cups to follow your heart and go along with it. The Knight of Cups can also indicate that charm, attraction, and affection will be part of your future date. If you’re in a relationship, the Knight of Cups can mean romantic proposals, marriage, or offering a more profound commitment! It may also indicate that you or your partner or potential partner are emotional, romantic, caring, and gentle. It’s a card of sensitivity, attraction, love, and affection. There’s good romantic news coming your way when this Minor Arcana card appears in your Tarot reading.

In a career context, the Knight of Cups is good news or a good offer. This Knight can be a success if you’re waiting for information about a job or course application. It could also mean getting an unexpected offer. Whatever the Knight’s details, things should be going well in the career setting when he appears. You should be able to deal with any work-related drama with tact and diplomacy, and if you have any essential deals coming up, the negotiations should go well! The Knight of Cups may also indicate that you need to use your creative side to solve any challenges in your work environment. If you are still looking for a career that suits you, the Knight of Cups would indicate that you should do something in a creative or artistic field. Knight of Cups is again a good omen; you may find that lucrative offers are coming your way, and your finances should be on the upswing. If you’ve had financial struggles, you might be told that thinking outside the box is the key to a successful solution.

Health (Upright)

Knight of Cups usually comes to a health reading when we’re filled with energy and don’t see anything wrong with our physiology. However, in the case of chronic conditions and problems that we have already encountered, this card shows us a new way to heal and release the energy that our illness has held back. He understands the solid defenses we all need to keep our physiology safe. At the same time, he sees the vulnerability that needs to be nurtured to avoid going astray or facing too many unconscious and physical limitations. It is a healthy barrier to the world and can represent all skin conditions in a challenging setting.

Spirituality (Upright)

The Knight of Cups indicates messages from the spirit to you in a spiritual context, so watch out for the synchronicities around you. This card is an excellent omen if you want to develop your psychic abilities. It’s a strong indicator that you have the natural gifts you want.

Knight Of Cups Guide to Reversed Meaning

Knight Of Cups Reversed Tarot Card Key Meanings
Unrequited Love, Heartbreaker, Manipulator, One Night Stand, Cheating, Deception, Disappointment, Cancelled Offers Or Proposals, Bad News, Procrastination, Obsession, Trouble-making, Tantrums, Moodiness, Turmoil, Homosexuality, Lack Of Diplomacy, Avoiding Confrontation, Jumping To Conclusions, Creative Or Intuitive Blocks

General Significance and Interpretation (Reversed)

Generally, the Knight of Cups reversed Tarot card may represent canceled offers or proposals, bad news, and withdrawn invitations. Minor Arcana’s information usually brings heartbreak, grief, or disappointment. The Knight of Cups reversed Tarot card can tell you not to jump to conclusions or check your facts before acting. The reversed Knight of Cups can also mean moodiness, tantrums, and emotional turmoil, so expect stressful situations when he appears. The Knight of Cups reversed may also indicate that you may procrastinate or avoid taking action rather than confronting a situation head-on. When representing a person, the Knight of Cups reversed may mean that an adult (usually 20-35 years of age and usually a male) who at first appears to be charming and trustworthy may turn out to be one of the following: disloyal, passive-aggressive, engagement-phobic, a drifter, a manipulator, a cheater or a heartbreaker. It may be a sign of water, such as Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces.

Love and Relationship (Reversed)

Reading Tarot’s Love, if you’re in a relationship, the Knight of Cups reversed is not a good omen, as it might indicate the end of a relationship, a broken engagement, or a revoked romantic proposal. The negative aspects of the reversed Knight of Cups can take many forms: a partner who turns from happy and committed to sudden commitment-phobic, a heartbreaker or a cheater, or a partner who becomes obsessive, abusive, or mischievous. It may also represent you becoming any of these things to your partner and may indicate that drug or alcohol abuse is an issue in a relationship. Look at the supporting cards for further clarification on the type of Knight you’re dealing with. The reversed Knight of Cups Tarot card isn’t much better if you’re single. You may find yourself dating a person with the issues mentioned above. It can also be a sign that you’re in love with someone who doesn’t give back your feelings or engage in a nightstand even though you know that these encounters don’t give you the love you want. Alternatively, reversing the Knight of Cups can be an indication of homosexuality.

Money and Career (Reversed)

In a career context, the Knight of Cups reversed is not a good omen, as it may represent bad news, missed opportunities through procrastination, or canceled/removed offers. If you’re waiting for information about an application for a job or a course, this Minor Arcana card may be unsuccessful, or a request may be made. The Knight of Cups reversed may also indicate other issues such as losing or leaving your job, underhandling, fraud, business gullibility, illegal activity, or extortion. Look at the supporting cards for clarification. If you have a good and legitimate business opportunity, Knight of Cups advises you not to dawdle but to ensure you have checked all the facts before you rush in. The reversed Knight of Cups may also indicate that you are in a job stifling your creative talents or creatively blocked. In an economic context, the Knight of Cups reversed suggests that you may find that lucrative offers fall through or are not as good as they initially looked, so make sure you do your research before you leave with any cash. It may also indicate financial issues, that you are avoiding dealing with your financial problems, or that you lack good opportunities to increase your wealth. Look for financial guidance from a professional if you’re struggling to make a decision.

Health (Reversed)

When reading Tarot’s health, the reversed Knight of Cups may indicate that drug or alcohol abuse harms someone’s health. It can also suggest that a hectic lifestyle may significantly impact your health more than you realize. Finally, it may also indicate that you should not jump to conclusions (positive or negative) about your health. If you have any concerns, get them checked by a medical professional.

Spirituality (Reversed)

In a spiritual context, the reversed Knight of Cups may indicate blocked psychic gifts. For example, you may be so busy that you’re missing the messages that the spirit is trying to send you. So slow things down and try to be more present at the moment to pick up the signs all around you. Alternatively, it can also strongly indicate dependence on psychic readings. Watch this tendency because it doesn’t help you become overly focused on psychic readings or exercises at the expense of living your life.

Yes / No Key Interpretation

The Knight of Cups is a romantic and compassionate dreamer who brings new opportunities or cheerful invitations. It’s self-acceptance and arrival to find the right path to your life. The answer you’re looking for is yes.

Knight Of Cups in Reading

The Knight of Cups embodies the quest for emotional depth and connection, approaching life as if it were an epic journey of the heart. This pursuit can be beautiful and burdensome, as the Knight often finds themselves enraptured by their passions. Their intensity can lead to profound joy when aligned with their feelings, yet it also poses the risk of emotional entrapment. When consumed by their quest for love or meaning, they may wander far from their original path, losing sight of the simpler pleasures available in everyday life.

While the Knight’s dedication to their inner experiences is commendable, it can also hinder their ability to engage with the world around them. The constant emotional fluctuations can render them moody and restless, leaving them vulnerable to the highs and lows of their feelings. In contrast to the more carefree and open-hearted Page of Cups, the Knight’s seriousness can hinder the clarity and enlightenment that often arises from a light-hearted approach. This dynamic suggests that sometimes, by letting go of our preconceptions and embracing spontaneity, we can access deeper truths about ourselves and our connections with others.

General Significance and Interpretation (Reversed)

Generally, the reversed Nine of Cups is not a great omen, as it can represent shattered dreams or desires that turn into nightmares. You may have gotten what you wanted, but now you won’t find out how you hoped it would be. Alternatively, you might have gotten what you wanted, and then you might have lost it, and now you’re feeling the devastation that can bring. The Nine of Cups reversed may represent unhappiness, misery, and lack of fulfillment. It may also indicate negativity or pessimism. This reversed card may also show eating disorders or addictions caused by low self-esteem and unhappiness. On the other hand, it can mean arrogance or conceit and lack of emotional maturity.

Love and Relationship (Reversed)

In a love Tarot reading, if you’re in a relationship, the Nine of Cups reversed isn’t a good omen as it can indicate that the relationship isn’t in a good place and that one or both of you feel let down or disappointed. It may look like everything is acceptable to the outside world, but unhappiness and a lack of fulfillment may exist. For example, you may have settled for someone who looks great on paper, but you don’t really love it, and now you regret it. However, while it may point to deep-seated issues, the Nine of Cups reversed may represent a sense of stagnation within a relationship that sometimes arises after the initial excitement has elapsed or the honeymoon has ended. If you’re single, the Nine of Cups reversed can signify that you’re not in the right emotional/mental state or not mature enough to make a relationship work. If you find that you’ve been attracting the wrong kind of person, you need to build your self-esteem and trust and find your inner contentment before you bring anyone else into the equation. No matter how wonderful they are, no one else can make you happy if you haven’t found happiness within yourself. It may also indicate emotionally unhealthful sexual behavior or sex without love. Alternatively, the Nine of Cups may mean that you have gone to the other extreme and that your arrogance or conceit might be putting off potential partners.

You may have started your own business or landed the promotion you wanted, but now you find that it’s not as fulfilling as you thought it would be or that the workload makes you miserable. It may also indicate that you’re struggling to find a career that you like and feel a bit of a failure or underachievement. The Nine of Cups in a reversed position may also represent being overlooked for promotion or position. It can mean that you’re working as hard as possible, but you feel that you’re not achieving what you wanted or that your hard work isn’t recognized. Finally, in a financial context, the Nine of Cups reversed may be a bad omen as you may find that promising investments or economic opportunities are disappointments.

Health (Reversed)

The Nine of Cups reversed can indicate eating disorders such as anorexia or bulimia, over-eating or over-indulgence, and addiction in a health context. If you are suffering from any of these, you may need professional medical assistance and counseling to help you get to the root causes of these problems and overcome them. However, it’s not a significant health card, which might indicate disappointment. At the same time, it can simply suggest that you will feel pessimistic or let negativity make you feel worse, so try to stay positive if you have health problems.

Spirituality (Reversed)

Two Of Swords Guide to Upright Meaning

Two Of Swords Upright Tarot Card Key Meanings
Stalemate, Truce, Sitting On The Fence, Crossroads, Difficult Decisions, Painful Choices, Stressful Decisions, Opposition, Being Torn Between Two Relationships, Divided Loyalty, Being Caught In The Middle, Denial, Blindness, Inability To See The Truth, Avoiding, Blocked Emotions.

General Meaning and Interpretation (Upright)

Generally, the Two of Swords represents a stalemate, truce, or crossroads. It indicates that you are sitting on the fence or struggling to make or avoid a complex, stressful, or painful decision. It’s the Minor Arcana to face your fears face to face. It can also mean being torn between two loyalties, relationships, situations, offers, or people. It means being caught in an argument or conflict and trying to mediate between the opposing parties. The Two of Swords also stands for blocking emotions, denial, blindness, and an inability or unwillingness to see the truth.

Love and Relationship (Upright)

In reading Tarot’s Love, the Two of Swords may indicate a stalemate or a relationship at a crossroads if you’re in a relationship. You and your partner may have been arguing frequently lately or cannot agree on a crucial relationship decision and have called a temporary truce. You may need a little time and space to consider the pros and cons of the matter and how you can come to an agreement. You may be reluctant to decide on this as you risk being vulnerable. However, it can also indicate that a painful choice needs to be made about the relationship’s future, but both of you are sitting on the fence because of the pain the decision will bring. This Minor Arcana card can also mean it is torn between two relationships. Whatever the case, you need to face your fears and make a decision so everyone concerned can move forward in their lives, together or separately. If you are single, the Two of Swords may indicate that you have a choice between two potential partners, and this choice may make it very difficult. However, the choice must be made for the benefit of all concerned, as it is unfair to keep them going. Alternatively, you can avoid letting someone know you’re interested in fear of rejection.

Money and Career (Upright)

In a career read by Tarot, the Two of Swords indicates that you may be caught in a conflict at work. You may be asked to choose between two colleagues with conflicting views. This will be difficult and stressful because you don’t want to be disloyal to either of them, but they’re unwilling to meet in the middle. It can also mean you are torn between two career paths or positions. This Minor Arcana card can also indicate that you are either in denial or unable to see the whole truth of the situation. So be aware that you may not have all the facts and need more information before making an informed decision. Try to get more facts and weigh up the pros and cons of each option if you’re struggling to figure out your next right move. In an economic context, the Two Swords again represent difficult or stressful choices and an inability or unwillingness to see the truth. If you have financial problems, you cannot deny yourself. You may have to make some tough choices to weather the storm, such as downsizing your car or tightening your belt, but you can do that. Just sticking your head in the sand will add to your problems. If you are unsure of your options, get professional financial advice.

Health (Upright)

In a health context, the Two of Swords indicates that blocked unexpressed emotions may be central to any health problems or physical discomfort you experience. For example, blocked emotions or holding on to anxiety or resentment can block chakras (energy centers in the body), leading to physical manifestations in the form of illnesses and injuries. Therefore, if you are experiencing physical problems and seeking appropriate care from a medical professional, you should also consider what steps you can take to release emotions that block the area.

Spirituality (Upright)

In the context of spirituality, the Two of Swords indicates that your spiritual path is unclear. Finding the balance inside of you is the key here. When you see your credit, you learn to tune all the outside interference to your wisdom. If you can do this, your right path will become apparent.

Guide to Reversed Meaning

Two Of Swords Reversed Tarot Card Key Meanings
Indecision, Delays, Delays, Seeing The Truth, Lies Being Exposed, Overwhelming Fears/Concerns/Anxiety/Stress, Information Overload, Overcautious, Emotional Turmoil, Mental Turmoil, Anxiety Or Resentment, Emotional Detachment, Emotional Coldness, Emotional Healing.

General Significance and Interpretation (Reversed)

Generally, the reversed two of the Swords represent indecision, delay, or postponement. It indicates that you are overwhelmed by fear, worry, anxiety, or stress and may experience emotional or mental turmoil due to your inability to make a decision. It can also mean holding on to resentment or fear and being overloaded with more information than you can handle. This Minor Arcana card reversal may mean overly careful, emotionally detached, cold, or guarded. Alternatively, the Two of Swords may mean seeing the truth of a matter after a period of mental fogginess and finally being able to decide. It may also represent the lies being exposed.

Love and Relationship (Reversed)

In the Love Spread of Tarot, if you’re in a relationship, the Two of Swords reversed indicates that you may be experiencing emotional turmoil about the decision you must make about your relationship, leading you to become completely indecisive. Anxiety or fear may overwhelm you to the point that you are emotionally detached from your partner rather than dealing with the issues at hand. It also means holding on to anxiety, problems, or resentment. It could be that you’re papering over the cracks in your relationship rather than dealing with things and drawing a line under them, which leads to resentment. Alternatively, it may also mean finally seeing the truth of a situation after a period of inability to move forward. If this is the case, you can now take steps in a positive direction, but do so gently and at a comfortable pace for you and your partner, and don’t force it. If you are single, the Two of Swords reversed may indicate that you may experience overwhelming anxiety about dating, which may cause you to avoid it altogether. You may not have dated in a while and feel like you’re out of practice, or maybe you’re still dealing with the emotional upheaval of your last relationship or holding on to some resentment, and you’re not quite ready to move forward yet. Don’t avoid the situation, but be gentle to yourself. Get out and meet people without putting too much pressure on you to start something if you’re not ready yet. Be patient and make it easier for yourself. For example, you might have casual, low-key dates until you feel more comfortable, such as meeting your coffee date or inviting your date to a party so that it’s not a one-on-one situation.

Money and Career (Reversed)

The Two of Swords reversed in a Career Tarot reading indicates that a work conflict can cause overwhelming stress or anxiety. It may mean delays or postponements of projects or promotions. Alternatively, it may suggest that you can see a work problem where you have previously been blind to it and that you will be able to take positive steps to resolve it. This Minor Arcana reversed may indicate that the truth is so exposed that suspicious deals or corrupt practices may come to light that you have not been aware of before. Be careful and ensure you’re not dragged along with the guilty parties in the mud. In a financial context, if you have been struggling financially, the Reverse of Two Swords indicates that you may be starting to realize the truth of your situation, which is a good first step toward resolving it. In your approach, you need to be practical and balanced. Look realistically where you can save money or cut costs and do it.

Health (Reversed)

In a health context, the Reverse of Two Swords indicates that you may struggle to find a healthy balance between your emotions and your mind, which may be at the root of any health problems. For example, overwhelming anxiety, worry, or stress could lead to a collection of physical symptoms or simply a general lack of feeling your best.

Spirituality (Reversed)

In the context of spirituality, the Reverse of the Two Swords tells you that while it is good to get acquainted with spiritual practices, there is an overload of information! So don’t make your spiritual journey a purely academic exercise by reading every book about every spiritual practice you conceive of. You’ve got so much wisdom inside yourself.

Yes / No Key Interpretation

The Two of Swords symbolizes the resolution of conflicts and the decisions that need to be made. However, the conclusions will likely be reached by seeking inner peace and a compromise. While this card suggests general peace, it does not lean toward either yes or no, so maybe that’s the answer.

Numerology of the Two of Swords

Two are duality, partnership, and sharing. The two symbolize this. Two of the Swords, in a numerological sense, may reflect that your life is currently quite balanced, although if you’re looking to improve it, there’s always a way out. Stop putting off what you must do and convince yourself it will be the best way to start. Someone else might also be looking for help right now; keep your eyes open to see who you can help. If you’ve got a lot of Twos reading, it’s a strong indication that your life, in general, will be all right; things could be better or a lot worse.

Two Of Swords Timeline

Two Of Swords Past
In this position, Two of the Swords remind us of the decision-making process that made us feel powerless or restricted. It shows that some calls may have been hasty, but those we’ve been sure of shouldn’t be compromised just because time has passed. It stands for our ability to protect ourselves from silence and isolation, pointing out times when we did so with ease so that we can see the actual results of our dedication to our primary inner calling. We’ve got to be proud of this card in our past.
Two Of Swords Present
This card is often interpreted as advising us to think more, but it is the point where we need to stop thinking over and talking over and start to have faith that we can, on our own, make our own decisions. It carries a load of adult responsibility, but it also blesses us with as much time as is necessary until we see the truth clearly and have no more dilemmas about the next move we should make. It’s telling us not to rush, close our eyes, and seek answers away from the outer world of conflicting beliefs that people around us are living and imposing.
Two Of Swords Future
In reading for the future, this card shows the importance of the Self, as active or passive as it must be to live in the moment. In a way, it’s a message that there’s no future to hope for, but the one we’re creating right now shows that if we keep on rushing, we’re going to hit a wall that won’t be easily overcome unless we dive into and question our morals and priorities. So, it’s announcing when we’ll need to protect our core from the outer world to move quickly through any challenge.

Two of Swords Important Card Combinations

Two of the Swords tarot cards are obstacles you need to overcome. Also, in combination with other cards, this card may indicate barriers. Below, you can find the most essential card combinations of the two Swords.
Two Of Swords And The Lovers
The combination of the Two of the Swords and the Lovers in a reading warns blind love. You ignore or refuse to see anything about your partner that might make them unworthy of the relationship you share. Are you settled in your love life because you’re afraid to be alone? If so, the Two of Swords urges you to consider your circumstances and act to improve your relationship or move forward.
Two Of Swords And The Five Of Cups
When the Two of the Swords and the Five of the Cups appear next to each other in a reading, the unnecessary drama has its place in your life. Whether with a friend or a family member, you need to take steps to end discord. Allowing the drama to take root in your mind causes you mental anguish and instability. It’s time to let go of it.
Two Of Swords And Knight Of Cups
This duo is urging you to avoid emotional attachment. For example, maybe you’ve started a new romantic rendezvous with someone you’re planning a future with. This reading solidifies that the relationship is not going to last. You will only get hurt if you allow yourself to be attached to this person. Therefore, the Two of Swords and the Knight of Cups advise you to practice detachment with love.
Two Of Swords And The Six Of Pentacles
When they are gathered together in a reading, the Two of the Swords and the Six of the Pentacles announce a peacekeeper. You will take someone in great need under your wing and build them to their full potential. Don’t hesitate to throw a line when you see someone struggling; it’s your destiny to do that.

General Meaning and Interpretation (Upright)

Generally, the Three Swords represent unhappiness, heartache, sorrow, and sadness. It’s a Minor Arcana card of grief, loss, depression, and tears. When it appears in your Tarot reading, it usually indicates a period of difficulty or hardship, usually at an emotional level. Distraction, conflict, disillusionment, and profound misunderstanding are all represented by this card, so whatever the situation means will lead to confusion, turmoil, and upheaval. Three of the Swords also indicate depression, trauma, disorders, loneliness, absence, and betrayal. You have suffered or will suffer some loss or betrayal when this card appears, and not one that can be easily brushed over. You will feel this loss deeply emotionally, and you have to give yourself time to process what’s happened. This card is not all bad, although it does represent hardship. The most difficult situations often teach us more about who we are and what we can do than good times. Give yourself time and space to heal and learn from your experience. If you need support, don’t hesitate to contact people who love you.

Love and Relationship (Upright)

Reading Tarot’s love, if you are in a relationship, the Three of the Swords is not a great omen, as it represents tears, heartache, heartbreak, sorrow, and conflict. This does not have to mean the end of your relationship, but it makes it clear that some complex issues must be addressed for the relationship to survive. First, you must sit down with your partner, have an open and honest conversation about your feelings, and respectfully listen to each other. Declining arguments, ugly comments, or recriminations will only worsen the situation. Second, you may have become unhappy or disillusioned with the relationship. You and your partner may lack communication, leading to severe misunderstandings and a sense of alienation or loneliness. Third, three Swords may indicate a person’s breakdown, divorce, or separation and the legal issues associated with such events. The three swords of this Minor Arcana card may also indicate the involvement of a third party. This may mean interference from a third party trying to stir up trouble.

In some cases, it may be cheating or infidelity, as it is a card of turmoil and betrayal. Fourth, the Three of the Swords may indicate loneliness or alienation if you are single. You may still feel the loss of your previous relationship and struggle to cope with your grief. You’re going to have to deal with your grief to move on. It can also indicate that someone cheats on their partner. Would someone who loves and values you put yourself in this position?

Money and Career (Upright)

In the career spread of Tarot, the Three of Swords represents stress, disillusionment, or loss, so it is not a great omen. This Minor Arcana card can signify grief and loss experienced due to sudden job loss or redundancy. It may also represent becoming disillusioned with your career or prospects. It may also indicate communication breakdowns, arguments, or strike action at work as a division and conflict card. Whatever the case, it’s generally an indication that your career is causing a lot of grief in your life. If you have a conflict at work, try to have a respectful, open, and honest conversation with the parties concerned to resolve it. Listen to their concerns as well as your own. If you’ve suffered a job loss, try to make the most of your free time by doing what you usually wouldn’t have time for. It’s essential to remain positive and realize that a career is just one aspect of your life, so don’t let any issues overshadow the other areas of your life. The Three of the Swords is not a great omen financially, as they can indicate loss and upheaval. You may have suffered financial or emotional loss with economic consequences, such as divorce or separation. Things may not have worked out as you hoped, but now is not the time to stick your head in the sand. Instead, it would help to devise a step-by-step plan to manage your finances. Take one task at a time, and you’ll get through this.

Health (Upright)

In the health reading of the Tarot, the Three of Swords is not a great omen, as it can indicate ill health, surgery, and disorders. Your health or the health of someone you care about may not be as great as you would have hoped, and you will experience a level of sadness or disillusionment. It can also be an indication of heart problems. However, this card may also be associated with anxiety, depression, and trauma, indicating that any physical health issues may arise due to deeper emotional or mental health issues. Whatever happens, taking care of your mental and emotional health at this time will be extremely important to your recovery, so be kind to yourself and try to keep a positive outlook.

Spirituality (Upright)

In a spiritual context, the Three Swords indicate that you need healing. Recent events or losses have left you feeling grieved and sad. You may think there is little consolation to be had now. However, our greatest sorrows often give us the most incredible opportunity to grow, learn, and evolve as spiritual beings. Reach out to people that you trust for support at this time, and allow yourself the time you need to grieve for the loss you’ve experienced. Be open to the messages that your spirit guides are sending you; they are there to guide you through this storm.

Love and Relationship (Reversed)

In reading Tarot’s Love, if you are in a relationship, the Three Swords reversed may indicate that you are moving into a period of reconciliation or forgiveness in a relationship. You are ready to let go of the pain or heartache that your relationship has caused you in the past and to forgive and move forward. Once again, the lines of communication are open, and your relationship has a good chance of progressing as you release the pain you’ve been carrying. In some cases, reconciliation may also be indicated after a breakup—alternatively, the reversed. Three of the Swords may suggest that you hold on to grief, sorrow, or pain and are unwilling to let them go. Your partner may have betrayed or hurt you in the past, and you continue to focus on it and feel unable to forgive them. If that’s the case, you need to ask yourself if there’s any point in continuing the relationship. Your relationship will not grow as you hold onto past indiscretions. This doesn’t mean you’re going to pretend it never happened, but you can’t keep using it as an emotional stick to beat your partner, even if they’ve caused pain and sorrow in your life. You need to figure out if you can draw a line from the past and move forward together. If you can’t, it may be time to let them go so that you can move on to something healthier. The reversed Three of the Swords may indicate healing from breakup, separation, or divorce if you are single. It can also suggest that you are leaving a period of feeling lonely and isolated and much more optimistic about your future relationship prospects. Alternatively, the reversed Three of the Swords may indicate an extreme level of grief following a bitter breakup, divorce, or loss of a loved one. There’s no doubt that what you’ve been through has devastated you. At the same time, holding on to the pain doesn’t make you feel any better. You may need to consider seeking the help of a healer or professional counselor to help you start the healing process.

Money and Career (Reversed)

In a career-spread Tarot, the reversed Three of the Swords may represent a stressful work or career situation that begins to resolve itself and the optimism that comes in. You may feel more upbeat, and your work environment may be more positive and happy. Perhaps the person who caused the stress left the company. Communication has improved, and a climate of reconciliation, compromise, and forgiveness exists. Alternatively, this Minor Arcana card can mean the already tricky work situation is worsening. Many previous upheavals and the bad feelings that caused them are made worse by people unwilling to let go of negativity or choose to hold back grudges rather than draw a line under things and move forward productively. In a financial context, the reversed Three of the Swords may indicate that you are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel after a period of economic difficulty. You may come to a compromise with lenders to repay a debt, or they may agree to some level of debt forgiveness. You may seek support or help with your financial problems, and you should feel a lot more positive when it appears in your Tarot spread. Alternatively, this card may indicate a severe level of economic loss wallowing. You may have lost a job you loved or lost your home or financial status due to a recession. This card suggests that you still hold on to the memories of what was once, unwilling to accept where you are today. You must understand your situation and start taking tangible steps to improve it rather than wallowing in self-pity.

Health (Reversed)

In the health reading Tarot, the reversed Three of the Swords may mean a return to health after ill health, surgery, or disorders. As a result, you should feel a lot more optimistic about your chances of recovery or healing. Alternatively, this reversed card may tell you that the level of anxiety plays a significant role in any health problems you experience. Don’t let your fear overwhelm you; seek professional help if you need it.

Spirituality (Reversed)

In a spiritual context, the reversed Three of the Swords may indicate a time of forgiveness and healing after loss or heartbreak. Recent events or losses have left you feeling bereft and sorrowful, but you’ve come through it, and you’re finally healing the pain. Alternatively, it may indicate that you are holding on to your sorrow, unwilling or unable to let go of the sorrow you feel. When consumed by grief and pain, we often close ourselves to our spirit guides’ messages. Instead, try meditation or Reiki to help heal the sorrow and allow the guidance your spirit guides send you to enter your heart.

Yes / No Key Interpretation

The Three of the Swords show the presence of pain and suffering either through emotional loss, the end of a meaningful relationship, or a separation of hearts. The emotional disturbances and mental anguish that come with this card depict the answer of no to your question.

Numerology of the Three of Swords

Three is a powerful numerology number grounded in the material world (three dimensions). Creative and stable, three of them can represent our lives as birth, life, and death. In a numerological sense, The Three Swords reminds us that we are in a life cycle that may be difficult and overwhelming. We must remember that time is cyclical; events begin, persist, and then vanish.

Three Of Swords Timeline

Three Of Swords Past
Three of the Swords will be found in our past as a time of sorrow finally left behind, reminding us that we are now in a different position and that we once felt a lot worse than we do today. This will typically show when we lack gratitude and confidence about the issues we’ve accomplished along the way. It will also give us a clearer perspective on the emotional world we’ve built up, even if we’ve failed a few times.
Three Of Swords Present
With this card in our present, we’re ready to release, let go, set free, and move into a different future. It means our resistance to the flow of time and the flow of our own emotions as we are pressed to grow up and face the facts instead of holding on to any illusion. It’s a reminder of sadness that we already carry within, telling us to set it free and allow ourselves to see where it comes from and cry out instead of artificially trying to make us feel better about situations that make us sad today. We must move through the pain to reach the light at the end of the tunnel.
Three Of Swords Future
The future colored by the Three Swords leaves little room for compromises and unsanitary choices, and we will face a situation that could not have been avoided, even though we have tried hard to prevent it today. It means our boundary and when we’re no longer prepared to deal with the same bruises. Holding on to our feelings and self-care is toxic and leads us to the painful process of liberation.

Three Of Swords Important Card Combinations

Are you curious if there is also a period of emotional upheaval when the Three of the Swords are combined with other cards? Below, I wrote down the most essential card combinations of the Three Swords.
Three Of Swords And The Fool
This card combination shows a lack of ability to commit to things. If you’ve been considering starting a new relationship, the Three Swords combined with the Fool tells us that you will struggle to pull the trigger. It’s time to figure out what’s holding you back. Is it worth it that you give so much power over your life? It might be time to take a look in the mirror and finally make a move.
Three Of Swords And The Magician
When this duo appears in a reading, a communication breakdown can cause serious problems. You must be mindful of how you present yourself and your thoughts. Communication is a key building block for all relationships. If you choose not to pay attention to it, someone you care about might be kept away from your actions. Take a close look and make sure you communicate as effectively as possible to minimize any damage that may result.
Three Of Swords And The Hermit
The Three Swords and the Hermit are an omen that you are lonely or will soon feel lonely. Perhaps this is the result of ending a relationship and, as a result, having difficulty adjusting to your new life. You can do this by reaching out to the people around you. For example, a family member or a friend may be able to provide you with the support and comfort you need. All you have to do is take the first step in that direction.
Three Of Swords And The Eight Of Cups
If the Three of the Swords and the Eight of the Cups appear next to each other, you surrender to the benefit of others. If you compromise your beliefs, needs/wants to keep the peace, know that you should always put yourself first. This realization is hard to come to, especially if the person in question is someone you care deeply about, but it is imperative. If yours is empty, you can’t fill another cup. Make sure you get what you need before you think about others and you get the fulfillment you’re looking for.

Three Of Swords in Reading

The Three of Swords powerfully reminds us that pain and heartbreak are part of the human experience. When grappling with loss or emotional turmoil, it’s essential to acknowledge rather than suppress those feelings. This card does not shy away from the harsh reality of sorrow; it emphasizes the importance of sitting with your emotions and allowing yourself the space to grieve. By facing the depths of your pain, you honor your heart and its journey, even when it feels overwhelming.

Yet, amid the anguish, the Three of Swords conveys resilience and hope. It gently nudges you to recognize your inner strength and the courage from enduring and processing heartache. As you navigate through the darkness, remember that healing is a personal journey unique to each individual. With time, you will find that your scars can become symbols of growth and wisdom. Embrace your healing process without rushing; trust that, in time, you will emerge more substantial and more in tune with your heart than before.
